DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY Students from the partner schools presented a typical seasonal product. Italy: peppers, Portugal: grapes, Croatia: sustainable nutritious dried fruits, Poland: potatoes, UK: the typical seasonal dishes. During the week, activities related to sustainable food, typical Piedmontese cuisine, wellness linked to physical activity and cultural visits were organised. The Italian school has long established links with the Association of Slow Food Italia, which works in the field of promotion and development of enogastronomy. Thus this meeting included visits to agricultural and agro-food industries in the area. All partners collaborated on food related tasks, such as performing created stories strictly connected to local food and sustainability through workshops: 1.Tajarìn, bolognese ragu and friciulìn made by mixed groups of students and grandmothers were prepared. Then all students and teachers tasted the prepared dishes. Visit to a near farm by bike; learning about modern breeding of cows and milk production; tasting of cheese. 2.Visit to the chocolate factory “Baratti&Milano” in Bra, tasting of chocolates. 3.Students and their host families visited a sweetshop, making sweets. 4.At Agenform, a high school for Italian and foreign students, two groups in turn practised on how to make mozzarella cheese and sausage, food from local production of milk and pork, then all of them tasted the sausages and mozzarella cheese they made. Traditions: students and teachers took part in a typical fair of fisherman, tasting river fish. They were involved in typical Occitane dances, a music session and playground games for students. A long guided walk through the Po park close to Moretta was organized. Cultural visits included the historical town of Saluzzo; a guided visit to the Royal Palace in Turin; a visit to Mercato Generale di Porta Palazzo; a visit to Mole Antonelliana, lift to the top with panoramic view, a tour in the center city: Caffè Baratti, Galleria Subalpina, Palazzo Carignano, Palazzo Madama.
